South Korean conglomerate Samsung C&T is showing interest in exploring new investment opportunities in Kyrgyzstan, particularly in infrastructure and public-private partnership projects.
The discussions took place during a meeting between Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan Ravshanbek Sabirov and representatives of Samsung C&T, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
Officials said both sides reviewed potential cooperation in developing major infrastructure projects and expanding public-private partnerships across the country.
The Kyrgyz side highlighted ongoing reforms aimed at improving the investment climate, strengthening economic policy, and creating more favorable conditions for foreign investors.
Samsung C&T representatives expressed strong interest in assessing Kyrgyzstan’s investment potential and participating in possible joint initiatives in the future.
At the end of the meeting, both parties agreed to continue dialogue and explore concrete areas for long-term cooperation.
