Thrilling 3-2 Victory Sees Kyrgyzstan Lead Group F Over Uzbekistan

Kyrgyzstan’s national futsal team has delivered a remarkable performance by defeating Uzbekistan 3-2, securing the top spot in Group F of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Indonesia 2026 qualifiers.

The match saw Kyrgyzstan dominate early on, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

Maksat Alimov broke the deadlock in the 13th minute, assisted by Islam Turatbekov’s precise cross. The lead was extended in the 22nd minute when Tilek Janat Uulu fired a powerful shot into the net, and shortly after, Kairat Kubanychov added a third goal following a setup from Mukhamed Askarbekov.

Uzbekistan struggled defensively throughout the game but managed a late surge. Khusniddin Nishonov scored in the 38th minute, followed closely by a goal from Ilhomjon Khamroev. Despite their efforts, Uzbekistan fell short as Kyrgyzstan held on to their lead.

This victory allowed Kyrgyzstan to top Group F, while Uzbekistan advanced as one of the best second-placed teams in the qualifying stage.
