Japan Dominates Uzbekistan 4-1 in Tashkent Futsal Friendly

The national futsal teams of Uzbekistan and Japan have clashed in a friendly match in Tashkent as both sides gear up for the upcoming Asian Cup qualifiers.

Four-time Asian champions Japan displayed their superiority with a 4-1 win over the host nation, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Uzbekistan’s only goal was scored by Husniddin Nishonov in the 9th minute, while Yusei Arai netted twice for Japan in the 4th and 36th minutes, and Shunta Uchimura added two more in the 8th and 24th minutes.

Looking ahead to the qualifiers, Japan will face Tajikistan, Cambodia, and Macau in Dushanbe from September 20 to 24. Uzbekistan, led by coach Nodir Eliboev, will take on Kyrgyzstan, East Timor, and Palestine in Bishkek.
