Armenia, Greece Poised to Sign Protocol to Enhance Bilateral Ties

Armenian Deputy Foreign Minster Paruyr Hovhannisyan received a delegation led by his Greek counterpart Konstantinos (Costas) Fragkogiannis.

According to Armenia's Foreign Ministry, welcoming the delegation, Hovhannisyan expressed satisfaction that, after a pause due to objective reasons, the 6th session of the Armenian-Greek Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial, and Scientific-Technical Cooperation will convene in Yerevan on December 17, The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenian media.

He emphasized that the governments of the two friendly countries show the necessary political will and commitment to developing interstate relations in various fields. The two sides noted that during their online and in-person meetings, constructive discussions were held between the delegations, resulting in the formation of a joint protocol. This protocol is set to be signed at the conclusion of tomorrow's joint session.The signing of the protocol is expected to open new opportunities for enhancing the comprehensive and high-level relations between the two countries. It will also serve as an important economic platform for expanding and strengthening Armenian-Greek business ties.
