Ukraine’s Air Force has announced that at least one person was killed and 16 others injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine over the past 24 hours.
Russian forces launched a total of 381 Shahed-type attack and decoy drones along with 35 missiles of various types, The Caspian Post informs via Ukrainian media.
Ukraine’s air defense systems intercepted 303 drones and 17 missiles, but 78 drones and 18 missiles successfully struck targets across six regions.
The Ministry of Energy confirmed that critical energy infrastructure, including gas transportation facilities, was targeted in several regions. State energy company Naftogaz reported significant damage to multiple facilities in the Kharkiv and Poltava oblasts, with some sustaining “critical” damage. Cleanup and repair efforts are currently underway, with Naftogaz noting this as the most extensive attack on Ukraine’s gas infrastructure since the start of the full-scale invasion.
In Donetsk region, the strikes resulted in one death and four injuries, according to Governor Vadym Filashkin.
Kharkiv region saw two people wounded during attacks involving 13 missiles and drones, Governor Oleh Syniehubov said.
In Kherson region, five people were injured after Russian strikes damaged two apartment buildings and 11 houses, Governor Oleksandr Prokudin reported.
Sumy region officials said an eight-year-old child and two adults were injured, and two women sought medical help for acute stress reactions.
Meanwhile, in Zaporizhzhia, a 50-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were injured amid 615 strikes on 17 settlements, Governor Ivan Fedorov said.
