Erdogan and Niger Leader Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke with Niger’s President Abdurrahman Tchiani on Monday to discuss regional and global developments.

During the phone call, Erdogan highlighted the importance of deepening Türkiye-Niger relations and reaffirmed Ankara's ongoing support for Niamey across all sectors, according to Türkiye's Communications Directorate, The Caspian Post reports, citing Anadolu.

He also noted that both countries would continue efforts to expand bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of energy, mining, and defense.
