FBI Director Kash Patel has arrived in Russia for negotiations, according to sources.

Patel is expected to visit Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia’s second-largest city, during his two-day trip, The Caspian Post reports, citing MS NOW television.

This would mark the first visit to Russia by an FBI director since 2013.

Earlier, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters that he had no comment on media reports about the possible visit, noting that “such visits are almost never announced.”
