Mayor: Death Toll Rises to Two After Devastating Russian Strike on Ukraine’s Kyiv

Ukraine’s Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has confirmed that the death toll from the massive Russian Armed Forces’ attack on Kyiv on July 4 increased to two.

The attack involved coordinated strikes using drones and ballistic missiles, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

The second victim, a 25-year-old man who had been in critical condition, died in a Kyiv hospital. Rescuers had previously discovered the body of the first victim in a damaged non-residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district.

Meanwhile, a large-scale drone strike hit the city of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region, injuring 11 people, including two children. The assault also triggered fires in multiple buildings, with one site experiencing a significant blaze.
