Moscow Expresses Readiness to Address Registration of Russian House in Baku

Moscow expects that the situation regarding the registration of its cultural center (Russian House) in Baku will be resolved favorably, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing.

The diplomat confirmed that Moscow had received a notification from Azerbaijan stating the termination of the Russian House's activities, The Caspian Post reports, citing TASS.

"In response, the Russian side expressed its readiness to take the necessary steps to finalize the registration of the Russian House in accordance with Azerbaijan's legislation," she noted.

"We have repeatedly offered to discuss this issue through diplomatic channels, within relevant consultations. These proposals were also sent in writing to the Azerbaijani side. Therefore, we expect this issue to be resolved in a favorable manner," Zakharova added.
