Russian Forces Launch Attacks Across Ukraine, Causing Casualties and Damage

In the early hours of October 23, Russian troops struck multiple regions in Ukraine, resulting in deaths and injuries.

In Kherson, Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Prokudin confirmed 13 people were injured during the attacks, which targeted residential areas and critical infrastructure, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

Damage was reported to four apartment buildings, 16 private homes, an administrative building, a cell tower, a store, vehicles, and agricultural machinery.

In the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region, Russian forces repeatedly shelled a site where rescue workers were operating. According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, one rescuer was killed and five others injured.

Zaporizhzhia’s Regional Administration head Ivan Fedorov reported 740 shelling incidents across 19 settlements in the region within 24 hours, leaving 16 people wounded. The region also suffered 10 airstrikes and over 490 drone attacks, damaging homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.
