Trump Has Genuine Intentions to End Ukraine War, Says Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an exclusive interview with India Today during his state visit to New Delhi, spoke about his historic August summit with US President Donald Trump in Alaska, The Caspian Post reports.

Addressing the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Putin stated that he has “absolutely no doubt” that Trump possesses “genuine intentions” to resolve the crisis and “minimize losses” on humanitarian grounds.

The Russian leader emphasized that, while “political considerations and economic interests” also influence the negotiations, he remains confident that the US is “actively seeking a solution” to the conflict.

Putin’s remarks came during his two-day visit to India, where he met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, underscoring the geopolitical significance of his diplomatic engagements.
