Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone call with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Friday.

Erdogan stressed that Türkiye is pursuing efforts to help end tensions between Iran and the US, as well as other conflicts and crises across the region, The Caspian Post reports, citing Anadolu Agency.

During the conversation, the leaders discussed bilateral relations, along with regional and global developments.

Erdogan said Türkiye would continue its peace-oriented diplomatic initiatives and stressed that Ankara would never condone attacks targeting brotherly countries in the region.
