Ukrainian Attack Targets Key Russian Military Airbase in Voronezh

Ukraine’s special forces carried out an attack on Russia’s Borisoglebsk military airfield in the Voronezh region on July 4, targeting a storage facility for glide bombs and a trainer aircraft.

Other aircraft were likely damaged, though no further specifics were provided, The Caspian Post reports via foreign media.

"This airfield is the home base of enemy Su-34, Su-35S and Su-30SM aircraft," the message said.

Meanwhile, Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev posted on Telegram that over 25 drones were intercepted and destroyed across the region overnight.

He noted that a power line sustained temporary damage but did not refer to any impact on the military airfield.
