An earthquake measuring 3.9 in magnitude struck off the coast of Sochi, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

The earthquake’s epicentre was located 27 kilometers from Sochi and approximately 187 kilometers from Krasnodar.

The tremor occurred in the sea at a depth of 35 kilometers.

No casualties or damage have been reported in nearby populated areas following the earthquake.
