Seven of 10 suspects have been arrested in connection with an armed attack near the İnci Üzmez Vocational High School in Turgutlu, in Türkiye’s Manisa province.

A 15-year-old identified by the initials H.O., who is suspected of opening fire, was taken into custody along with his mother, father, grandfather, cousin, a friend and the owner of a hunting-supplies store who sold ammunition to the minor, according to TRT Haber.

Three suspects were released under judicial supervision.

The attack took place near the school on September 22. Eleven students were injured in the incident.

Eight of the injured students have since been discharged from hospital after receiving medical treatment, while three remain under care at specialized medical facilities.
