Deadly Night in Ukraine: Russian Strikes Kill Civilians, Injure Dozens

At least nine people have been killed and dozens injured across Ukraine following a massive Russian overnight attack.

In Kyiv and the Kyiv region, one person was killed and six others were injured in the attack. Fires were reported in several districts of the capital, while residential buildings were damaged, The Caspian Post reports via the Ukrainian State Emergency Service.

One person was also killed in the Poltava region.

The Dnipropetrovsk region suffered some of the heaviest casualties, with five people killed, including two children, and eight others injured in a Russian missile strike. Two private homes were completely destroyed and five others were damaged. Several fires broke out but were later extinguished by emergency crews.

Up to five more people could be trapped under the rubble, with search and rescue operations continuing.

In Lviv, 20 people were injured in a missile attack, while people were reportedly trapped beneath debris. Emergency services are working at the scene.

Ukrainian media also reported casualties in the settlement of Radushne near Kryvyi Rih, where six people were killed, including two girls aged five and 12. At least eight others were injured, including two children.
