Azerbaijan Sends Nearly 40 Tons of Railway Equipment to Ukraine

Azerbaijan has delivered nearly 40 tons of equipment to Ukraine to support the operation of the country’s railway infrastructure amid ongoing challenges facing critical infrastructure.

The equipment was transported through the Ministry of Energy’s energy hub to one of Ukraine’s regional railway units. It is intended to support Ukrainian railway workers and help maintain the operation of critical infrastructure, The Caspian Post reports via the ministry's message on X.

“New equipment is sent almost every day through the hub to various regions of Ukraine. It helps ensure the uninterrupted operation of both the energy sector and other critical infrastructure facilities amid the constant threat of Russian attacks,” the ministry said.

Ukraine’s Energy Ministry expressed its gratitude to Azerbaijan for its support and assistance in strengthening the country’s critical infrastructure.
