Deadly Rainstorms Hit Türkiye's Istanbul as Death Toll Climbs to Six

The death toll from heavy rainfall in Istanbul has risen to six after the body of a local resident was found near the Ayvansaray pier on the European side of the Turkish city on October 19, the Istanbul Governor’s Office has announced.

Search operations are continuing for another person who remains missing following the severe weather, according to TASS.

The heavy rainfall has triggered deadly incidents across Istanbul, prompting ongoing search and rescue efforts as authorities continue to look for the missing individual.
