Death Toll in Ukraine's Ternopil Missile Strike Rises to 31 as Rescuers Recover More Victims

The death toll from the devastating Russian missile strike on Ukraine's Ternopil city has risen to 31, after rescuers recovered the bodies of three more victims - a woman and two children - during ongoing search efforts.

Officials said the latest victims were found around midday as emergency crews continued removing debris from the residential building destroyed in the attack, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

Among the dead are six children, while the number of injured has climbed to 94, including 18 children.

Rescue teams and emergency workers remain on site around the clock, searching for survivors and assisting residents affected by the blast. Police psychologists and specialists from multiple agencies are providing immediate mental health support to grieving families.

Authorities say identification of the victims is ongoing, and search efforts will continue until everyone still unaccounted for is found.
