Drone Strikes King Fahd Causeway Connecting Bahrain, Saudi Arabia

A drone has reportedly attacked the King Fahd Causeway, linking Bahrain and Saudi Arabia over the Persian Gulf.

The bridge connects the Saudi city of Al Khobar with Bahrain and stretches more than 25 km with four lanes of traffic. Named after King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, it serves as a major transportation route between the two nations, The Caspian Post reports via Iranian media.

Earlier, Bahrain was targeted in a strike reportedly carried out by Iran, hitting the US Fifth Fleet headquarters in Manama. The headquarters was completely destroyed, with several nearby buildings also damaged.

In response, the US Department of State urged American citizens to urgently leave Middle Eastern countries, including Bahrain, citing escalating security risks.
