Yemen's Houthi movement has claimed it shot down a Turkish-made Bayraktar Akıncı drone that it said was operated by Saudi Arabia during an operation over northern Yemen.
The Houthis said the unmanned aerial vehicle was brought down while carrying out what they described as "hostile activities" in the skies over Al Jawf province, The Caspian Post reports via IRIB.
The group identified the aircraft as a Bayraktar Akıncı, one of Türkiye's most advanced combat drones, but did not provide further details about the circumstances of the incident or evidence supporting the claim.
