Türkiye is battling large-scale wildfires across nine provinces, with thousands of emergency workers, aircraft and ground vehicles deployed to contain the flames.
A total of 3,514 personnel, 23 aircraft, 54 helicopters and 1,035 ground vehicles are involved in firefighting operations, Türkiye's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency reports.
The emergency teams have evacuated residents from several areas as the fires continue to threaten populated locations.
In Muğla province, a state hospital in the Seydikemer district was evacuated as a precaution due to the risk of the wildfire spreading.
Fire crews and emergency teams remain on the ground as efforts continue to contain the fires and protect residents and critical infrastructure.
