A collision between a passenger bus and a car in Istanbul's Eyüpsultan district left 30 people injured.

The accident took place on Yavedud Street in the Nisanca neighborhood. Following the crash with the car, the passenger bus struck a signpost, The Caspian Post reports, citing TRT Haber.

Police, ambulance teams, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene shortly after the accident.

Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate Director Abdullah Emre Güner said that all 30 injured individuals received initial medical assistance at the scene before being taken by ambulance to nearby hospitals.

Two of the injured people are reportedly in serious condition.
