A deadly traffic accident involving a private public bus and a panel van has claimed one life and left 10 others injured in Türkiye's western province of Manisa.

The collision occurred on the Manisa-Turgutlu highway near the Karaoğlanlı junction in the Şehzadeler district. According to preliminary reports, the bus and the van crashed for reasons that have not yet been determined, The Caspian Post reports via TRT Haber.

Emergency medical teams, police officers, gendarmerie units and rescue personnel rushed to the scene. One person was pronounced dead at the site of the accident, while 10 others sustained injuries of varying severity and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
