Russia is set to showcase its Su-57E fifth-generation fighter jet in export configuration at the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 in Egypt, featuring a new weapons package that has never previously been displayed in Russia or abroad.
The aircraft will also take part in the airshow’s flight program, where it is expected to demonstrate advanced aerobatic maneuvers, according to Rostec.
Russia’s state defense conglomerate Rostec said the export version of the Su-57 will be presented in Egypt with “absolutely new” weaponry being demonstrated for the first time.
“The Su-57 is the flagship fighter jet of the Russian Air Force, whose capabilities have been confirmed in real combat conditions. Now this aircraft is also conquering export markets. Supplies to foreign partners who clearly understand the advantages of this aircraft have already begun. New modifications of the fighter jet are becoming even more effective and dangerous. In Egypt, we are presenting the export version with absolutely new weapons, which are being demonstrated for the first time,” Rostec said.
The Su-57E is designed with low observability, high maneuverability and the ability to employ a broad range of weapons.
The El Alamein International Airshow 2026 will be held at El Alamein International Airport in Egypt from September 8 to 10.
Russia’s joint exhibition at the event is being organized by Rosoboronexport, the country’s state arms export agency.
