Russia remained Türkiye's largest supplier of crude oil and petroleum products in May, exporting more than 1.65 million tons to the country.
The shipments secured Russia the top spot among Türkiye's energy suppliers. Kazakhstan ranked second with 515,700 tons, while the United States placed third, delivering 348,900 tons of crude oil and petroleum products, The Caspian Post reports via Lenta.ru.
Türkiye's overall imports of crude oil and petroleum products rose by nearly 3% year-on-year in May, reaching 4.09 million tons, highlighting the country's continued strong demand for energy imports.
