Russia and Ukraine have carried out another large-scale prisoner exchange, with 370 servicemen returning home in one of the latest humanitarian agreements between the two sides.

The exchange involved 185 prisoners of war from each country, The Caspian Post reports via Anadolu Agency.

The swap was facilitated through the mediation of the United Arab Emirates, which has played a recurring role in negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv.

Russian authorities said the released soldiers have been transferred to Belarus, where they are receiving medical and psychological assistance before returning to Russia for further treatment and rehabilitation.
