An An-22 aircraft has crashed near the Uvod Reservoir in Russia’s Ivanovo region.
Emergency crews have been dispatched to the scene, where debris from the aircraft was found in the water. The plane was reportedly conducting a routine test flight after repairs, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.
The crash occurred in the Furmanovsky district of Ivanovo region. According to initial reports, seven crew members were on board.
Authorities are currently clarifying information about possible casualties. Preliminary data suggests the aircraft belonged to Russia’s Ministry of Defense.
