Russian Drones Strike Lviv, Trigger Explosions and Alerts

Russian combat drones have struck the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, setting off explosions and prompting air raid alerts.

Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said blasts were heard shortly after 6:40 a.m. (GMT+2), urging residents to follow safety instructions, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

Regional governor Maksym Kozytskyi confirmed a drone strike in central Lviv, with emergency teams on site as authorities continued to assess the damage.

No casualties have been reported so far. Air raid alerts were also issued in Kyiv, as Ukrainian forces tracked drone activity across multiple regions, highlighting the continuing threat of aerial attacks.
