A Russian attack on the Nikopol district in Marganets, Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, killed two people and injured five others.
The victims include a 42-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man, while the injured range in age from 21 to 69, with doctors describing their conditions as serious, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.
The strike also triggered multiple fires across Ukraine, damaging nearly a dozen gas stations, several infrastructure facilities, two five-story buildings, a private home, a store, a garage, and a gas pipeline. Vehicles and outbuildings were also affected.
Vladislav Gaivanenko, acting chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration, reported that the total number of casualties in Dnipro from the night attack has risen to 16, underscoring the ongoing threat to civilians in the region.
