Russian Strikes on Ukraine Leave Two Dead, Six Injured

Two people were killed and six others injured in a new wave of Russian attacks across Ukraine.

The heaviest reported impact was in Zaporizhzhia region, where authorities recorded 923 strikes on 51 settlements over a 24-hour period. Two people were killed and three others were injured in the attacks, according to Ukrinform.

In Kherson, a Russian drone struck a medical facility in the morning, injuring two employees. A 62-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman suffered concussions and traumatic brain injuries.

Russian forces also launched more than 10 attacks on four districts of Dnipropetrovsk region, using aerial bombs, drones and artillery.

In Pavlohrad district, an enterprise was damaged and fires broke out. A 38-year-old man was hospitalized following the attack.
