Russian tourists are increasingly choosing to visit Antalya in September and October instead of the peak summer months, Osman Ayık, tourism adviser to the mayor of Antalya and head of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED), said.

“It's worth noting that many more Russians have started arriving in Antalya in autumn. The season has shifted from July-August toward September-October,” Ayık said, according to life.ru.

He said demand is particularly strong for trips in October, including during school holidays. The strong flow of Russian tourists is likely to continue through the end of November.

Ayık also said Antalya authorities maintain regular communication with Russian officials and tour operators. If necessary, including when tourist numbers increase, the sides can quickly address the need for additional flights.
