Several Celebrities Detained in Istanbul Anti-Drug Operation

Several celebrities have been detained in Istanbul as part of a police operation targeting drugs and prostitution-related offenses.

Those arrested include Ceren Alper, Selen Görgüzel, Ayşe Sağlam, and Nilüfer Batur Tokgöz, The Caspian Post reports, citing Turkish media.

The operation reportedly involved allegations related to drug activity and soliciting prostitution.

The Cumhuriyet newspaper also reported that well-known actor Can Yaman was among those detained.

Authorities have previously detained several public figures in Türkiye on suspicion of drug use and trafficking, with arrest warrants issued for some individuals in related cases.
