Kyiv came under another massive Russian missile and drone attack overnight, leaving at least seven people dead and dozens more injured as explosions echoed across the Ukrainian capital.
Fireballs lit up the night sky while air defense systems attempted to intercept incoming missiles and drones. Several residential buildings were damaged, including an apartment block in the Podilskyi district that partially collapsed after being struck, The Caspian Post reports.
Emergency crews continued search-and-rescue operations through the morning, working to free people trapped beneath the rubble and extinguish fires sparked by the attack.
As air raid sirens sounded, hundreds of civilians sought refuge in Kyiv's metro stations, which once again served as bomb shelters during the overnight assault.
