Uzbekistan–Turkmenistan Summit Wraps Up

The National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has concluded his visit to Samarkand.

During the two-day program, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the esteemed guest held bilateral talks, visited the historical and ethnographic complex Eternal City, and toured the “Mirages of Time” exhibition, The Caspian Post reports citing UzA.

A solemn ceremony was held to present the “Highest Degree of Friendship” Order of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the National Leader of the Turkmen People.

Following the visit, the President of Uzbekistan saw off the distinguished guest at the Samarkand International Airport.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev returned to Tashkent.
