Get ready for a celebration of rhythm, culture, and connection - the International Festival “Dance Unites Us” is coming to Tajikistan! From April 29 to May 2, Dushanbe will turn into a hub of creativity, welcoming dancers and artists from around the world.

Hosted by the Tajik Ministry of Culture, the festival honors two landmark occasions: the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s independence and the 110th birthday of legendary choreographer and People’s Artist of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), Ghaffor Valamatzade, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

Beyond stunning performances, the program will include a scientific conference exploring Valamatzade’s artistic legacy - a tribute to his role in shaping modern Tajik dance.

The festivities will officially open on April 30 at the Sadriddin Ayni Tajik State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, promising four days of dazzling performances, international collaboration, and pure cultural magic.
