Dushanbe Invest-2025 To Pave Way for Sustainable Investment in Tajikistan

Tajikistan's Dushanbe is set to host one of the most important events of the year - the international investment forum “Dushanbe Invest-2025”, scheduled for October 14 to 16.

Chairman of the Tajik State Committee on Investment and State Property Management Sulton Rahimzoda said that the forum is expected to unlock new opportunities for the country’s economic growth, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

Rahimzoda emphasized that the primary goal of the forum is to showcase Tajikistan’s investment potential across various sectors. The event will provide investors with vital information, facilitate knowledge sharing, and highlight the latest global trends in investment. It is also expected to foster the signing of cooperation agreements that will support the country’s sustainable economic development.

Rahimzoda pointed out the importance of investment forums as effective tools to attract capital, citing prominent examples like the annual Tashkent Investment Forum, the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, and similar events in Gulf countries.

The concept for Dushanbe Invest was initially proposed in November 2024 during talks with Tajikistan’s development partners. The government has since backed the initiative, and preparations-including program development and invitations-are currently underway.

The inaugural Dushanbe Invest forum took place in 2023 in the capital city. The government plans to hold the forum every two years, with the possibility of adjusting the schedule based on the event’s success.

This year’s forum will focus on the theme: “Green Investments: Today’s Opportunities for a Sustainable Future.”
