Tajik Parliament Speaker Hails 30 Years of Azerbaijan’s Growing Global Influence

Tajikistan’s Parliament Speaker Faizali Idizoda has said that Azerbaijan steadily strengthened its international standing over the past three decades.

Idizoda made these remarks at an international parliamentary conference in Baku, held to mark the 30th anniversary of the adoption of Azerbaijan’s Constitution, The Caspian Post informs via local media.

“The 30th anniversary of the Constitution is not just a ceremonial celebration-it symbolizes the resilience and maturity of Azerbaijani statehood. The Constitution lays the foundation for any country, and time has shown that Azerbaijan’s Basic Law contains all the principles necessary to ensure peace and stability, both domestically and internationally,” Idizoda emphasized.

He also highlighted the strong partnership between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, noting the crucial role of the two countries’ leaders in fostering bilateral ties.

“The relationship between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan is a model of strategic partnership. Thanks to the commitment of our leaders-Ilham Aliyev and Emomali Rahmon-and their regular mutual visits, cooperation continues to grow and deepen,” he said.

Idizoda added that parliamentarians from both nations are actively working to further strengthen bilateral relations, ensuring that this partnership continues to benefit the people of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan alike.
