Tajikistan, Belgium Ink Deal on Migration, Trade Cooperation

This week, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin has met with Belgium’s Annelies Verlinden, Minister for Asylum, Migration and Social Integration.

The two sides discussed deeper cooperation on labor migration, preventing illegal migration, and expanding trade and economic ties between their countries, The Caspian Post informs via Tajik media.

To solidify their plans, they signed a Memorandum of Understanding, marking a shared commitment to collaboration.

Previously, the information went viral that Belgium had shown interest in Kazakhstan’s digital transformation, signaling a growing engagement in the region.
