Tajikistan, UNECE Advance Dialogue on Sustainable Regional Cooperation

On the sidelines of the Dushanbe‑Invest 2025 International Investment Forum, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin has met with UNECE Executive Secretary Tatiana Molcean to discuss regional integration and enhanced cooperation through multilateral platforms.

During their meeting, the two officials discussed expanding cooperation toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, with special focus on improving regional transport connectivity, streamlining trade procedures, managing water resources more efficiently, and advancing the green economy and digital transformation, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

The dialogue demonstrates Tajikistan’s ongoing commitment to working with international partners for inclusive and sustainable development.

Earlier this week, Tajikistan also held talks with the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) in the US to promote strategic development projects.
