Ambassador of Tajikistan to the United States Zavqi Zavqizoda has met with David Fogel, US Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Director General of the US Foreign Trade Administration, with both sides reaffirming their readiness to expand cooperation in the economic, trade, industrial, and investment spheres.
Particular attention was given to advancing joint projects and translating political agreements into practical outcomes, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.
The discussions were aimed at implementing commitments reached during the November 2025 meeting of the two countries’ leaders, signaling continuity in bilateral engagement and growing momentum in economic ties.
The meeting comes amid broader regional efforts to strengthen trade links in Central Asia following 2025 economic growth, with Tajikistan positioning itself to deepen partnerships with key international markets, including the United States.
