A meeting between the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan took place, focusing on bilateral relations and regional cooperation.
The leaders discussed current issues related to expanding friendship, good-neighborliness, strategic partnership, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, The Caspian Post reports citing UzA.
Particular attention was given to coordinated measures to increase mutual trade and advance cooperation projects in industry, energy, agriculture, and other priority areas.
The importance of continuing active cultural and humanitarian exchange, as well as productive interregional contacts, was emphasized.
Views were also exchanged on strengthening regional cooperation in Central Asia.
