Azerbaijan, Central Asian States Sign Key Joint Documents

Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries have signed joint documents at the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State in Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan.

The documents were signed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, according to Azertac.

The leaders signed the Joint Statement of the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asian Countries and the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the Decision on the Regulatory Documents of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asian Countries and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The signing ceremony took place in the Turkmen city of Turkmenbashi on October 8.
