Bilateral trade between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan reached $140.2 million in the first six months of 2025.
From January to June, trade with Turkmenistan accounted for 0.57 per cent of Azerbaijan’s total foreign trade turnover, The Caspian Post reports per Turkmen media.
Azerbaijan exported goods worth $30.3 million to Turkmenistan during the reporting period, while imports from Turkmenistan totaled $109.8 million.
Non-oil exports made up a significant portion of the trade volume. Azerbaijan exported $29.5 million worth of non-oil products to Turkmenistan, which represented 1.68 per cent of the country’s overall non-oil exports for the period.
As a result, Turkmenistan ranked 10th among the largest importers of Azerbaijani non-oil products in the first half of 2025.
