Lecturer at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute Amanmurat Arazov has announced that China hosted a comprehensive training seminar on industrial park construction and management for Central Asian countries, with five representatives from Turkmenistan participating.
The seminar took place in the cities of Tianjin and Shenzhen, offering participants an in-depth look into China’s advanced industrial development practices, The Caspian Post reports per Turkmen media.
In Tianjin, the focus was on the practical establishment of enterprises within economic and technological development zones, alongside a demonstration of the “one-stop” administrative service system-an efficient platform streamlining the issuance of permits and official documentation.
Participants gained detailed insights into the formation of special economic zones worldwide, including their legal and economic frameworks and critical growth drivers. The seminar also highlighted China’s experience in developing these zones as key contributors to national economic expansion.
The Shenzhen segment featured presentations on various types and development features of industrial parks. Attendees explored Shenzhen’s model of digital and high-tech parks, strategies for optimal land use, and management structures founded on public-private partnerships.
The delegation visited Luohu, a prominent commercial center in Shenzhen, where they studied how domestic and international markets interact, the infrastructure supporting foreign buyers, and overall trade operations.
Back in Tianjin, experts reviewed the master plan of the new Binhai innovation district, emphasizing the balanced integration of residential and industrial areas, cutting-edge infrastructure, and sustainable urban planning principles. The group also toured the Eco-City, a Sino-Singaporean joint project showcasing advanced technologies focused on air and water quality protection, low-carbon manufacturing, and renewable energy utilization.
