G.Saparova, a Korean language instructor at Turkmenistan’s Dovletmammet Azadi National Institute of World Languages, is participating in a professional training program on higher education cooperation in Central Asia.
The program runs at Kangwon National University in South Korea from January 7 to 15, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
The training is conducted under the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding on science and education cooperation between the Turkmen institute and Kangwon National University.
Participants are exploring the practical application of effective methods for teaching Korean, using the institute’s instructional materials. Special focus is given to teaching the language through Korean folk tales, cultural heritage elements, and authentic learning resources.
The program also includes instructional sessions for teachers to prepare for the international TOPIK Korean language exam.
Overall, the program aims to enhance Korean language teaching methodologies, expand professional development opportunities for educators, and improve the quality of language education through international collaboration, giving it significant practical and academic value for participants.
