Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov has had a phone talk with Botswana’s Minister of International Affairs Phenyo Butale during which they explored opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
During the discussion, the two foreign ministers reaffirmed both countries’ commitment to developing constructive international partnerships, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
A central focus of the conversation was the upcoming Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, set to take place in Turkmenistan in August 2025. Both ministers emphasized the importance of the event in advancing the development goals of landlocked nations and expressed readiness to support its successful organization.
