Turkmenistan, EU Focus on Expansion of Cooperation

On March 7, Turkmenistan's Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a telephone conversation with the High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Security Policy, and Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas.

During the conversation, the sides discussed a number of issues of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

The heads of foreign policy agencies paid special attention to the expansion of cooperation in the framework of the “Central Asia-European Union” format.

In addition, the sides exchanged views on the upcoming meetings on the high and the highest levels scheduled to be held in the near future.
