Turkmen Ambassador Atajan Movlamov has met with Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, to explore ways to maximize the transit and logistics potential of the Turkmenbashi, Karachi, and Gwadar seaports, which are strategically important for regional trade and transport.
During the discussions, both sides highlighted opportunities for cooperation in developing railway infrastructure, emphasizing its key role in ensuring sustainable transport links across the region, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
The officials also stressed the value of multilateral collaboration, noting Pakistan’s strategic location as a bridge to strengthen economic ties, diversify supply routes, and enhance the region’s overall transit capacity.
