Turkmenistan, Qatar Chart Path to Boost Trade and Investment

Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Qatar Myratgeldi Seyitmammedov has met with Qatar’s Minister of Foreign Trade Ahmad Mohammed Al Sayed to discuss avenues for enhancing bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

During the talks, the ambassador emphasized the significance of Turkmenistan’s designation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust, and highlighted ongoing national initiatives marking the 30th anniversary of the country’s neutrality, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

The meeting focused on Turkmenistan’s current economic reforms, efforts to support entrepreneurship, and the country’s strategic push to incorporate digital technologies into its economy.

Both sides expressed interest in further expanding the Turkmenistan-Qatar trade relations and strengthening a framework for long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
